Please join the Wendell Gilley Museum on Sunday, December 15, 2013, from noon to 4 p.m. for its annual holiday open house and carving show. The Gilley welcomes the community to enjoy a festive afternoon featuring newly carved whimbrels from this fall’s carving class, as well as other recent work created by Museum members.

The Museum hosts the open house and carving show to thank the community for making this past summer and fall a successful season. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with people, nature, and art, and to celebrate the handiwork of your talented neighbors.

Visit the Wendell Gilley Museum at 4 Herrick Road, Southwest Harbor, Maine. Museum hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. through December 15. Members’ carving club continues through the winter every Friday from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Program information and a calendar of events are available at wendellgilleymuseum.org.
