The Ellsworth Antiques Show at Woodlawn, staged under a tent on the museum grounds, is America’s longest running summer antiques show. This year, it will feature 28 dealers of national and regional renown. All proceeds will benefit Woodlawn’s school programs.
If you like to work with people, love antiques, or want to help with Woodlawn’s biggest fundraiser for school programs, this is your opportunity to be part of a great team of volunteers who help make the show one of the best events of the year in Down East Maine.
Volunteers are needed for the following tasks:
— Various tasks to get the property ready, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11.
— Help the dealers where needed, such as put away empty boxes, set up booths, etc., 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 12 and 13.
— Ticket sales for the preview party, 4-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13.
— Ticket sales to the show (two-hours shifts), 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Aug. 14 and 15; 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16.
— Help dealers pack and general after-show cleanup, 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16.
