Free seminar about vein health for seniors

SCARBOROUGH, Maine — On Wednesday, July 18 at 3:00pm, Dr. Cindy Asbjornsen of the Vein Healthcare Center will present a free seminar about vein health for seniors at the Southern Maine Agency on Aging in Scarborough, Maine (136 U.S. Route One).

“Healthy Legs at Any Age” will review the basics of vein health, with a focus on common vein problems for older adults, such as varicose veins, leg ulcers and deep vein thrombosis (DVT). There will be ample time for discussion, so attendees are encouraged to come with questions for the doctor.

Dr. Cindy Asbjornsen is the founder of the Maine Phlebology Association and the Vein Healthcare Center in Maine. Dr. Asbjornsen is certified by the American Board of Phlebology and cares for all levels of venous disease, including spider veins, varicose veins and venous stasis ulcers.
