Veazie Veterinary Clinic is challenging you to make a difference

Posted Feb. 19, 2013, at 4:28 p.m.

VEAZIE, Maine — Veazie Veterinary Clinic is counting its Facebook “likes,” and putting them to good use. For every 35 new Facebook likes, the clinic will neuter a cat from the Bangor Humane Society. For every 75 new Facebook likes, the clinic will spay a cat from the Bangor Humane Society.  Tallying will end on April 1. Just search “Veazie Veterinary Clinic” on Facebook and hit “Like,” and have your friends and family do the same.

In honor of February’s Spay and Neuter month, VVC hopes to challenge community members to create awareness and become involved in a special contribution to local pets at the Bangor Humane Society. Customarily, the BHS requires cats and kittens to be spayed or neutered before entering their new forever homes. By “liking” Veazie Veterinary Clinic on Facebook, you can help local kittens and cats find their new homes faster.
