PORTLAND –The Muskie School of Public Service at the University of Southern Maine will begin offering courses in Maine’s state capital during the upcoming 2012-2013 academic year. The school will host an information session for the master’s in public policy and management program on Wednesday, August 15, at 12:30 p.m. at the Burton M. Cross Building, room 300.

Maine’s only master’s in public policy and management program is designed to prepare graduates with the critical knowledge and skills to inform public policy, address issues of social concern, and serve as leaders in nonprofit organizations, government, and the private sector.

Courses will be offered in Portland, Augusta, online, and at a distance; the school has broadened its online offerings and extended its reach into Augusta in a strategic effort to provide public policy and administration education throughout the state.
