BANGOR, Maine — A four-part Eat Well Nutrition workshop series will be held at 10 a.m. Jan. 9, 16, 23, 30, at the University of Maine Penobscot County Cooperative Extension Office located at 307 Maine Ave. in Bangor. Classes are 60 to 90 minutes in length and participation in all four classes is required.
Through hands-on activities participants will learn how to make their own baby food, feed their picky eaters, save money on groceries, and try new, healthy recipes the whole family will enjoy.
Participants in the Eat Well Nutrition Workshops will receive: a free baby food mill, recipes and kid-friendly snack ideas, a cookbook, tips to help keep families healthy and active, and other incentives.
Registration is free to eligible adults with children.
