The University of Maine Student Wellness Resource Center & Campus Recreation present the sixth annual Healthy High 5/10K and 1-mile Fun Run, at 4:20 p.m. April 20.
The first 600 people to register for the 5/10k will receive T-shirts; those in the 1-mile fun run will not receive shirts.
Prizes will be awarded for the top male and female runners in each of the divisions for both the 5/10k.
Early registration forms should be returned to the Student Wellness Resource Center by noon on Monday, April 19. Late registration is available the day of the race. The cost for this event is $5 for students and $15 for community and staff members.
All proceeds will go to the Heroes, Hope, & Healing Campaign to fund the EMMC’s Raid Peavy Haskell Children’s Cancer and Treatment Center.
UMaine students can receive a discount by registering in person and showing their MaineCard or providing their MaineStreet ID number online.
The race will begin at the Student Recreation and Fitness Center at the University of Maine located at 5797 Hilltop.
There will be a Wellness Fair beginning at 12pm at the Student Recreation and Fitness Center prior to the race.
And please remember to bring old shoes to donate to Soles 4 Souls!
