FALMOUTH, Maine — United Insurance, one of the largest independent insurance agencies in Maine, today announced that Marcia Hartt has been named director of marketing.
As director of marketing, Hartt is responsible for developing the communications strategy and managing the marketing, promotions and community education efforts supporting United Insurances’ offices throughout Maine and New Hampshire.

Hartt joined United Insurance as part of the Hayden Perry office in Presque Isle, Maine in 2003. She has also worked as a commercial lines account manager and as a PR media coordinator for the company. She earned her Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) designation in 2010.
In addition to her role at United Insurance, Hartt is an active member of the business community in southern Maine. She currently serves on the Falmouth/Cumberland Chamber Board of Directors. She also Chairs the Member Relations Committee for the Portland Regional Chamber as a Board Member.
