BANGOR, Maine — Crews will be working on Interstate 95 during the overnight hours on the Union Street bridge. This work involves closing one lane of traffic on the interstate to allow for construction to take place safely between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.
In addition there will be full interstate closures between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. northbound, and 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. southbound. The current schedule for the week of June 9 is as follows:
– June 9: Full interstate closure southbound, Exit 184 southbound on-ramp and the northbound passing lane.
– June 10: Full interstate closure southbound and the Exit 184 southbound on-ramp.
– June 11: Interstate closure of the southbound travel lane and the Exit 184 southbound on-ramp.
Motorists should follow appropriate construction signage and detour routes to help guide through the work zones and detours safely.
