Two new board members join the Hammond Street Senior Center in Bangor

 BANGOR, Maine – The Board of Directors of Hammond Street Senior Center (HSSC), a non-profit organization whose mission is to serve the social, intellectual, and physical well-being of individuals age 60 and older who live in the Bangor Region, has appointed two members of (HSSC) to their Board.

 Kelli Daunais, Administrator at Winterberry Heights Assisted Living and Memory Care. Kelli has a B.S. in Mental Health and Human Services from the University of Maine. She also worked as an Alzheimer’s Specialist for Elder Independence of Maine. Kelli grew up in Perry Maine and spent many holidays at the Eastport Senior Center serving holiday meals to seniors with her family.

 Vicki Rusbult is the Director of the Center for Community Capital at Eastern Maine Development Corporation in Bangor. She identifies funding opportunities, writes grant applications, assists with new projects development and implementation, and convenes community partners for collaboration on projects. A graduate of the University of Maine with a masters’ degree in public administration, she is currently pursuing her doctorate in education/transformative leadership at the University of New England.

 The Board of Directors is thrilled to have these two join the Board and contribute their expertise.
