PORTLAND, Maine — The Turner Barker Insurance Agency has moved its Portland and Saco offices, and will now do business as Clark Insurance.
“When we considered our various lease obligations and ease of customer access, it made sense to accelerate the change from the Turner Barker name to Clark Insurance at the same time we consolidated offices,” said Ken Ross, president of Clark Insurance, in a press release. “Gratefully, the two agencies share the same deep commitment to customer service so the transition should go smoothly for all our valued customers and employees.”
Turner Barker employees from the Preble Street office in Portland have moved to 2385 Congress St. and 2273 Congress St., just beyond UNUM. The Turner Barker office in Saco moved from Thornton Avenue to Clark’s 15 Pepperell Square office, across from Rapid Ray’s. The two agencies merged in May, creating one of the largest independent insurance agencies in Maine.
Clark Insurance added the office at 2273 Congress St. in Portland to house its growing Employee Benefits Group.
