Trekkers hosts community meeting for 7th grade program

THOMASTON, MAINE – Trekkers will hold the annual community informational meeting for its 7th grade Teen Trekkers enrollment on Thursday, January 31st from 5:30-6:30pm at the Oceanside West High School gymnasium. This program is open to all 7th grade students living in the communities of St. George, Owls Head, Cushing, South Thomaston, Thomaston, and Rockland.

The purpose of this meeting is to inform students and their families about the overall program, explain Trekkers’ selection process and share how students become eligible to participate.

Trekkers is a non-profit, outdoor-based mentoring program that connects young people with caring adults through expeditionary learning, community service and adventure-based education. To learn more about Trekkers, please visit www.trekkers.org.
