Tree Identification Workshop

Join University of Maine’s forest vegetation instructor, Steve Sader, for a tree I.D. walk and more. Start with a guided walk, then learn how how to measure tree heights and diameters with simple forestry instruments. Discover how to use a plant key from Forest Trees of Maine to identify species.

Saturday, August 17, 1-4 p.m.

Location: Fields Pond Audubon Center, Holden
