”Reno Air Races: Responding to a Plane in the Stands” will be presented by Brian Taylor, EMT-P director of Emergency Management Regional Emergency Medical Services in Reno, Nev., on May 15 in two locations.
He will be at Maine General Medical Center in Waterville, Dean Auditorium, from 8 to 10 a.m.; and at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Dana Center, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Taylor was the medical branch director for the Mass Casualty Incident response to the crash of a North American P-51D Mustang into a crowd of spectators on Sept. 16, 2011. His presentation will detail the pre-event preparations and the response and recovery efforts for this incident.
