Timothy Smith joins staff at Maine Community Foundation

PORTLAND, Maine — The Maine Community Foundation recently announced the appointment of Timothy Smith as Controller.

Smith, of Gouldsboro, graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and a Master of Business Administration. He is a certified public accountant and chartered global management accountant.

Smith most recently was vice president of finance and CFO of the Webber Group of Companies in Bangor, where he worked for more than 30 years. He volunteers at the New England Telehealth Consortium as an executive committee member and treasurer and serves on a Fee Arbitration Panel of the Maine Board of Overseers of the Bar.
