ORONO, Maine — Timbered Lake, an acoustic duo which blends Native American heritage and relationship with the Earth with a promise of hope for the future, will perform at the free l8th annual HOPE Festival 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at the University of Maine Student Recreation and Fitness Center.
Their performance will follow a keynote talk by the author
and environmental activist, Bill McKibben. Other performances will
include the HOPE Festival singers directed by Marty Kelley, the juggling of Zachary Field and Inanna, Sisters in Rhythm. The
festival also will include information from more than 60
organizations, an informative children’s program, food from local vendors and more.
