Award winning photographer and videographer Scot Miller will present “Thoreau’s Maine Woods: A Photographer’s Story” on Monday, July 28th, at 7 pm at the CoeSpace, located at 48 Columbia Street in Bangor. Scot is the author of Thoreau, the Maine Woods: A Photographic Journey Through An American Wilderness (Levenger Press, 2013). If you are interested in Thoreau, the Maine Woods, photography, or the outdoors, this is an opportunity to see the Maine Woods as Thoreau did more than 150 years ago, and as they are today. You will enjoy Scot’s account of his adventures in creating and selecting the images that appear in his book. Scot’s program is sponsored by the Friends of Baxter State Park and co-sponsored by Maine Woods Forever. It is open to the public free of charge.
