Rockland Maine –

Why are Canadians healthier and wealthier than Americans?  And what are the lessons for Maine?

For answers, you are invited to a free public screening of an award-winning film, The Healthcare Movie on Saturday, May 10th at 6:30-8:30 PM at the Rockland First Unitarian Universalist Church, Broadway and Gay Streets. After the movie, there will be a moderated discussion and question/answer session led by members of the Board of Maine AllCare, a non-profit, non-partisan organization that promotes quality, affordable health for all Maine people.

The Healthcare Movie provides the real story of how the health care systems in Canada and the United States evolved to be so differently, when at one point they were essentially the same.
