FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Unitarian Church Will Host

Annual Thanksgiving Dinner

BELFAST—The Unitarian Universalist Church of Belfast will host its fourth annual Community Potluck Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 22, starting at 1 p.m. at the church. Anyone who would like to come is invited. You don’t have to be a Unitarian—or any other faith.

There is no charge for the dinner, no collections will be taken, and no donations will be expected. Also, no sermon will be delivered, but those who would like to stay for a nondenominational Gratitude Circle after the dinner may do so.

Turkey will be provided, but those who would like to come are invited to bring a potluck offering, such as appetizer, or salad, or vegetable, or rolls or bread, or dessert. Vegetarian offerings are welcome.

The dinner will be alcohol-free, so don’t bring wine, but if you have any dietary restrictions, the church will endeavor to mark foods which might pose a problem, such as gluten items, nuts, MSG, etc.

“The UU Church of Belfast welcomes everyone who would like to have a Thanksgiving dinner with a warm and friendly group of people,” said the organizer of the event Jennifer Hill.
