Szillery named to Board of Certification for Geologists and Soil Scientists

BREWER, Maine — CES, Inc., a Maine-based firm of engineers, environmental scientists and land surveyors, is pleased to announce the appointment of environmental scientist Johanna Szillery, CSS, to the Maine State Board of Certification for Geologists and Soil Scientists.

Szillery earned her Masters of Science in Plant, Soil and Environmental Sciences from the University of Maine in 2003. She is a Maine certified soil scientist and also has served as president of the Maine Association of Professional Soils Scientists.

Johanna Szillery joined CES, Inc. in 2013. She provides expertise in soil and wetland science, natural resource planning and permitting, and performs Phase I environmental site assessments.

CES, Inc. provides civil and environmental consulting and land surveying services to both public and private clients. In business since 1978, CES employs 70 professionals across six offices located in Brewer, Bar Harbor, Lewiston, Machias, Presque Isle, and Waterville.
