Color the Bangor Waterfront “pink” on September 15, for the 17th Annual Susan G. Komen Maine Race for the Cure! Join thousands of people in support of this great cause. 75% of net funds remain right here in the State of Maine to fund education, screening and treatment programs. 25% of net funds go to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Grants Program, funding cutting edge breast cancer research.

Sally Bilancia, Executive Director of the Komen Maine Affiliate, said, “The Bangor Race for the Cure began in 1997, and are excited to continue the tradition so that our supporters have the opportunity to contribute to help Maine residents fight this disease and join together to support family and friends.”
