The MPA/MFA State Championship Tournament will attract over 250 competitors and 100 adults to Brunswick High School this Saturday, January 25th. While the tournament will begin at 9 a.m., the live streaming will begin at 12 noon. Individual Speech and Debate rounds will be streamed throughout the afternoon, featuring students from 24 public and private high schools from around the state. The event will conclude with a live streaming of the awards ceremony at approximately 7:30 p.m. Individual State Champions will be crowned in thirteen speech events, two divisions of Congressional Debate and five divisions of Debate. Team awards will be announced in Speech, Congressional Debate and Debate, along with Sportsmanship Awards in all three areas.
