We heard that The Schooner Olad, which sails out of Camden Harbor, will be doing something special for Dad on Father’s Day. We contacted them to get more details and it turns out to be a fantastic gift for Dad! Here is the conversation we had with them:
Question: We have heard through the grapevine that you’ll be doing something special for all the dads out there on Father’s Day.
Answer: Yes we are! For all of the wonderful fathers, whom we are so fortunate to have, we are offering a 50% discount off their sail with us on Father’s Day if they are accompanied by a family member. We feel these dads who have put so much into their families deserve something special, and we’re delighted to offer them a 2 hour sail with us at a great discount.
Question: What times will you be sailing on Sunday?
Answer: We will be offering 5 different times to come sail with us on Sunday. 10am, 12:30pm, 3:00pm, 5:15pm, and 7:15pm for the sunset cruise.
Question: What trip do you recommend and which is the most popular?
Answer: We find that the best time to see wild life is in the morning, although there is a possibility of seeing wild life on all our sails. The best sailing breeze in the bay is generally mid-morning to mid-afternoon. The most popular sail would probably be the sunset sail. It’s wonderful to watch the sun setting behind the Camden Hills. There’s always something to see out in the bay, whether it’s seals, porpoise, birds, other sailing vessels or lobster boats. I think anytime you’re able to sail it is the best time.
Question: How can people contact you to get a reservation?
Answer: We can be contacted via phone at 207-236-2323 and by email email@example.com. You can also make a reservation online on our website: maineschooners.com.
Thanks so much for thinking of all the great dads out there! We hope you all have a fantastic day!
