This bottle drive fund raiser is COUNTY WIDE, to benefit the all of Aroostook for services that are too rewarding not to do.

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Supporting tuition costs for Special Needs children and families to attend Equine Assisted Services in Aroostook County, is an act of love and belief in the success of equine therapies, although labor intensive and even frustrating. “We are not giving up,” stated a small group of volunteers known as the Manes and Tails (a non profit) committee, at a meeting in Presque Isle Feb. 7.

Manes and Tails is accepting bottles and cans at farms and public places like Tractor Supply Stores in Presque Isle and Houlton, the Monticello town office. Farms available for drop offs are Perfect Ponies Learning Center, 489 Main St, Van Buren; Aroostook Horse and Pony Associates 676 Hwy 1, Monticello and Equine Inspirations Learning Center, Plante Rd., Caribou. FMI and/or to have your donation picked up call Nancy Dumond Violette 207 484 1231. MT is also looking for more locations to accept drops.
