SENATE CANDIDATE DODGE endorses Religious Freedom Tax Repeal Act:

“I fully endorse Rep. Sensenbrenner and Rep. Diane Black’s Religious Freedom Tax Repeal Act.

This addresses one of the key threats of Obamacare’s onerous taxation of religious organizations

who wish to adhere to their religious ideals.. There is a real danger that religious schools,

hospitals, soup kitchens and other institutions will be forced to close because of the fines that

will be imposed. In such times of economic needs losing these institutions would be worse for

those in the greatest need.

I call on Sen. Snowe, Sen.Collins, Rep. Pingree and Rep. Michaud to endorse this reasonable bill

to ensure that all the charitable work done by religious institutions in Maine continues. I also call

on Angus King, Charlie Summers, Steve Woods, Danny Dalton and Cynthia Dill to join with me

in supporting the passage of this legislation.
