Please join us to celebrate the past year, learn about our future plans, and share your ideas to make the museum even better! Bill Barter, our Curator of Education, will speak about the fascinating connection between the Jackson Laboratory, an automobile currently on loan at the museum, and leaders in the automotive industry a century ago.
In addition to being the namesake – and one of the original financiers for – the Jackson Lab, Roscoe B. Jackson was a founder and President of the Hudson Motor Company. A touring car produced by the Hudson Company in 1910, one of only seven of these cars still in existence, is currently on loan at the Seal Cove Auto Museum. It still runs, according to owner Jan Kendrick, “like butter”!
This event is free and open to the public.
