Schoodic’s Returning Songbirds! May Bird Watching 8-10am at Frazer Point in Winter Harbor.

May is the premier month to witness the return of warblers and other songbirds. Frazer Point will be the meeting place, and is often the best place for birds, whether they are passing through or settling in to nest. These two hour outings from 8am to 10am, will focus on ID by sight and song as well as the latest conservation news about these returning migrants. We’ll check out some new birding apps too. Dress for the weather. Bring Binoculars. Group size is limited so please register in advance by calling 288-1310. Don’t be late, catch the songbird wave! Sponsored by Schoodic Institute at Acadia National Park. May 9, 11 and 23.
