Due to inclement weather forecasts of rain on Saturday, August 11, the 2nd Annual Touch-A-Truck Fair at the Cole Land Transportation Museum – with proceeds going to Camp CaPella – has been postponed till Saturday, September 15 with a rain date of Sunday, September 16.
“We had 55 vehicles lined up for the Touch-A-Truck Fair, including a separate section of various public safety and emergency vehicles, but we don’t want to stage this show on a day it could be rained out,” explains Dana Mosher, executive director of Camp CaPella.
“Nevertheless the Touch-A-Truck Fair is just too good an event – for kids and adults as well – to pass by,” adds Chris Thorne, project manager at the Cole Land Transportation Museum, host and a primary sponsor of the Touch-A-Truck Fair. “We’ll get rid of all the rain by September 15, and we will make the Big Show happen after all.”
