STANDISH, Maine – Suzan Nelson has been selected as Saint Joseph’s College Online’s new director for the Master of Science in Education program. A current and longtime adjunct of the college, Nelson has more than two decades of experience in education in Maine.
Nelson holds a doctorate in teacher leadership from Walden University. She earned a certificate of advanced study in educational leadership from the University of Southern Maine. In addition, she received a bachelor’s in journalism and a Master of Education in instructional systems from the University of Maine in Orono.
Nelson has worked with a number of social, education and media organizations in the state, including as a president of the Maine Association of School Librarians and the southern Maine chapter of Maine Media Women.
