10TH ANNUAL SADDLEBACK FALL FESTIVAL WILL FEATURE THE “REAL MCCOY SHOW”

Saddleback Maine will be presenting the Real McCoy Show at the Annual Fall Festival on Sunday, September 21st at the Base Lodge. Brent McCoy is an internationally touring physical comedian who looks like a construction worker. With jaw-dropping technical skill and an amazing ability to connect with his audience, he is a hit with crowds around the planet. His performance will begin at 12:30 PM. Also entertaining at the Festival will be “Piano man” Jimmy Austin.

Saddleback’s Fall Festival includes an Arts and Crafts Fair with local artisans displaying their unique wares both inside the lodge and on the grounds. There’s a delicious BBQ on the deck, toys and pumpkins for the little ones, a pie-eating contest, and fly-tying demonstrations. The ticket office will be open selling Season Passes at discounted prices and there will be presentations from top Saddleback staff about the upcoming ski season.

Saddleback is also partnering with many local non-profits for the Fall Festival: at 9:00 AM the Rangeley Health and Wellness is hosting a Trail Run: a 4 mile, 4000’ vertical change test of endurance offering prizes in three age categories for both Men and Women. The Healthy Community Coalition will be offering free blood pressure screenings and cancer prevention information; the Ski Scholarship Fund will be holding its second annual SKI SWAP- sell your old gear or outfit your family at bargain prices-all the while supporting this great organization; the Rangeley PTA will be making spirit bracelets and fundraising; the RLR Logging Museum, Little Mountain School, the Ski Museum of Maine, the Sandy River and Rangeley Lakes Railroad and other groups will be presenting activities, fundraising, and increasing awareness of their organizations all day.

There’s something for everyone at the Saddleback Fall Festival. For more information, visit www.saddlebackmaine.com.
