BOSTON, Mass. — New England-based Baker Newman Noyes, one of the nation’s top 200 accounting and consulting firms, has announced that Robert Croak, CPA, MST, formerly with one of the Big 4 accounting firms, joined as a principal in the firm’s growing tax advisory services practice.

Bob is highly regarded for his accounting and tax expertise, and coupled with his knowledge of both the Boston and New England markets, his addition to our team is integral to our continued expansion in Massachusetts,” said Ellie Baker, managing principal, in a press release.
Croak, of Wilmington, provides tax advisory services to middle market corporate clients. He has significant experience within the cleantech, life sciences, technology, manufacturing, distribution and retail sectors. “From complex corporate tax planning and compliance to mergers and acquisitions, international tax and transfer pricing, Bob is a seasoned leader in the accounting profession and will complement the strengths of our tax team,” added Baker.
Prior to joining Baker Newman Noyes, Croak served as director of global tax of a large multinational company based in Massachusetts and spent more than 10 years as a tax senior manager at Big 4 accounting firms. Croak earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Suffolk University and a Masters in Taxation from Bentley University.
