Follows if the USTA Draw sheet for the Angell Open Championships concluded today (april 13th) at Racket and Fitness Center, Portland Maine.

In next email in Picture of the Men’s and Women’s Singles Winners: Mike Hill defeated John Goldis and Margaret Silverman defeated Eden Marrano.

Local players included Josh Pendergast, who lost in Men’s doubles semi finals with Jeremy Angell, and in the men’s singles round of 16 to Micheal Burke.

Cash prizes to the men’s singles winners and finalists $500/250 and to the Women’s winner and finalist $250/100.

Other cash prizes went to Men’s 45 and over winner, Men’s 55 and over winner and Mixed doubles winners, and both Men’s and Women’s doubles winners.

A total of $1700 was distributed to players. $500 was raised for NAMi, Maine (National Alliance on Mental Illness).

Entries totalled 112 players, up from 77 last year.
