REGISTRATION OPENS FOR DOWNEAST SPIRITUAL LIFE CONFERENCE

BLUE HILL, Maine — Online registration has opened for the two-day Downeast Spiritual Life Conference: “Spirituality in Our Times: One Journey, Many Paths” to be held August 24-25,  at the Grand Theater in Ellsworth and at other nearby locations.

The conference features principal speakers Fr. Richard Rohr, Phyllis Tickle, and Andrew Harvey; preconference workshops with Andrew Harvey, Rev. Kate Braestrup, and Karen Trueheart; and a kick-off performance with Rev. Betty Stookey and Noel Paul Stookey (formerly of the folk group: Peter Paul and Mary).

Following the conference on Saturday evening, world-renowned musician Paul Winter and pianist Paul Sullivan will perform a fundraising concert at the Grand. Proceeds will be used to underwrite next year’s conference.
