With FPAC’s annual Hawk Watch right around the corner, join Doug Hitchcox, Maine Audubon Naturalist, as he prepares you for the fall migration of hawks. Near or far, raptors can be an identification challenge. Doug will explain techniques for identifying hawks, eagles, and falcons by size, color, and gestalt. We will also look at how weather and timing play important roles in a productive day hawk-watching.
Cost: $5/member; $6/nonmember. Please call 989-2591 with any questions.
