Rabies Clinic at Warren Fire Dept. Nov. 23rd, 11:30am-1pm

Posted Nov. 11, 2013, at 12:33 p.m.

The Pope Memorial Humane Society of Knox County is sponsoring a Rabies Clinic at the Warren Fire Department on Western Road in Warren. Dr. Craig Underhill from the Warren Animal Hospital will be in attendance.

The cost is $12, cash only. There have been incidents of rabies in the Midcoast area, and even though pets may be indoors, a rabies vaccination is still a good idea.

Cats should be in a proper pet carrier and dogs must be on a leash. Kittens must be at least three months old and puppies must be at least four months old.

Note: Pet owners should bring a record of the pet’s last rabies shot if at all possible.

For more information about the clinic or PMHSKC, call 594-2200 or visit hskcME.org.
