PORTLAND, Maine — Preti Flaherty has announced that the firm’s partnership has named attorneys Steven A. Hudson and Andrew Landry as partners. Hudson and Landry both previously practiced as “of counsel” and work from the firm’s Augusta office.
Hudson practices with the firm’s Environmental and Telecommunications Group, Climate Strategy Group and Government Affairs Group where he represents manufacturers, energy developers, telephone companies and electric utilities on a broad range of matters affecting their interests.
Prior to joining Preti Flaherty, Hudson served as General Manager of Technical, Regulatory & Public Affairs for MeadWestvaco Corp., Assistant Director of National Affairs for Boise Cascade Corp. and as in-house counsel to Boise Cascade. He is admitted to practice in Maine and earned his law degree from University of Washington School of Law in 1986 and his undergraduate degree from University of California in 1980. Steve lives in Wayne with his wife and children.
Landry also practices with the firm’s Environmental and Telecommunications Group and Climate Strategy Group. He has a broad background in energy and utility law and corporate law and extensive experience representing utility clients on regulatory issues before administrative and regulatory agencies, such as the Maine Public Utilities Commission and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Landry also maintains a practice concentrated in corporate transactions, commercial finance, securities law and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Preti Flaherty, Drew served as General Counsel to Bangor Hydro-Electric Company. He is admitted to practice in Maine and earned his law degree from the University of Maine School of Law in 1987 and his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University in 1983. Drew resides in Brewer with his wife and children.
