Portland Society for Architecture Installs 2014 Officers

Portland, ME – The Portland Society for Architecture (PSA) membership recently voted to install the following slate of officers for the 2014 term:

President – Alan Kuniholm, Principal, PDT Architects

Vice President – Stuart O’Brien, Attorney, Maine Public Utilities Commission

Secretary – Scott Tompkins, Director of Business Development, PC Construction Company

Treasurer – Ron Conterio, Product Consultant, A.W. Hastings & Co.

The officers constitute both PSA’s Executive Committee and Finance Committee, and are members of PSA’s 20-person Board of Directors. Assisted by Executive Director Carole Merrill, the officers and board are responsible for charting the organization’s direction and ensuring its financial wellbeing.

Three new PSA Board members also began their two-year terms: Jaimee Lee Anderson, an architecture student at the University of Maine at Augusta; Nathan Smith, a commercial real estate attorney at Bernstein Shur; and Graham Vickers, an architect at SMRT, Inc.

PSA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is “to advocate for design excellence in the Greater Portland built environment while promoting fellowship within the local design community.”
