Please make sure that your children are signed up for swimming lessons at this new facility built through wonderful contributions and donations in the community!

Summer Recreation Program sign-ups started on Monday, May 19th and will continue through Friday, May 30th, 2014 until 5:00 pm at the Pittsfield Municipal Building. Please drop off your completed form and payment made out to the Town of Pittsfield at the Pittsfield Town Office, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm weekdays, excluding holidays. The Town does not provide refunds so make sure that your children attend the programs. Our programs are available to children of other communities as long as space is available.

Lots of great program this year with children able to register for basketball, golf, field hockey, soccer, tennis, arts and crafts and swimming lessons. Public Swim will be Mondays – Fridays 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm; Mondays, Wednesdays 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Saturday afternoons 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm from June 23 – August 15, 2014. This is free for Pittsfield residents!

This year, a new program will be offered to get ready for football. The 2014 Future Huskies Football Camp will be held June 23 – 27, 2014 from 8:30 am – 11:00 am for boys and girls grades K-8, Ages 4-13 at the MCI Practice Football Field. The cost for the program is $50.00 with checks made payable to Woody Moore. The registration fee also covers the cost for grades 3-4 & 5-6 football this fall. The Camp includes 5 days of instruction; a healthy snack every day, camp t-shirt, championship trophies and medals for all. This program will feature MCI football players, Husson University Football Players and MCI Alumni.

This is a great new program to learn skills to get ready for football this fall thanks to Coach Woody Moore. To obtain a registration form, send an e-mail request to Coach Moore at wmoore@cianbro.com or pick up a copy at the Pittsfield Town Office. This program is for children in the SAD#53 School District which is comprised of Pittsfield, Detroit and Burnham.
