Wed., Jan. 8th, Cappy’s Chowder House, 5-9pm: The Pig Out for Pets event to benefit the Pope Memorial Humane Society has moved due to the recent closure of the Graffam Bros. Harborside Restaurant. Happily, David Robichaud, owner of Cappy’s Chowder House, has graciously agreed to host all of the Harborside’s scheduled Community Connections events for 11 consecutive Wednesday evenings starting Jan. 8th with the Pig Out for Pets event. Kim Graffam and Leni Gronros, owners of Harborside, will be on hand to welcome guests and help with the transition of this wonderful program.

The Community Connections program invites local, nonprofit organizations to gather their supporters on Wednesday evenings throughout the winter for dinner at Cappy’s Restaurant. Simply by eating at Cappy’s on the specified evening, supporters will help their favorite organization receive up to 50 percent of that night’s receipts to support their work in the community. In its first year, the program raised over $11,000 for the local community.

Cappy’s Chowder House and Harbor View is located at 1 Main Street, Camden, ME 04843. For more information, please contact the restaurant at 236-2254.
