Amherst Mountains Community Forest
The AMCF is roughly 5,000 acres of forestland surrounding 6 ponds in the town of Amherst. Come and enjoy a 3.3-mile moderate hike through old-growth forest and past dramatic ledge shorelines of Ducktail and Partridge ponds. Please bring your lunch, and we’ll find a pretty spot on the trail to eat. Call 989-2591 to let us know you’re coming.
