Come this weekend for the Pen Bay Walk of Life, a free pet-friendly, public event, and honor loved ones on National Trails Day, Saturday, June 1 from 10 a.m. to noon on the Pen Bay Medical Center campus. All are welcome!
Enjoy a half day of music by harpists, the Bay Chamber Concert singers, drink refreshments, participate in the release of white doves and enjoy numerous fun activities for kids!
The Pen Bay Walk of Life is a one-mile loop trail with beautiful serene vistas running parallel to the waterfront, offering a tranquil walk through wooded nature. A portion of the trail includes a Memory Walk with displayed photos from family, friends or pets to those who deserve special recognition.
For more information, contact Betsy Saltonstall or Cyndi Clayton at 594-6705 at the Pen Bay Healthcare Foundation or online at www.pbmc.org/walkoflife.
Pen Bay thanks members of Boy Scout Troop 215 of Thomaston, supervised by scoutmaster Bill Benner, who cleared overgrowth and helped to create better access along the trail.
Pen Bay’s Walk of Life is sponsored by Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.
