Passamaquoddy Bay Symphony Orchestra Woodwind Quintet will perform in Calais on Mar. 16 at Congregational Church

The Woodwind Quintet of the Passamaquoddy Bay Symphony Orchestra is scheduled to appear on Saturday, Mar. 16 at the Congregational Church of Calais at 7 p.m.

Conducted by Doug Gaither, the group includes five local musicians: Nancy Asante on flute, Helen Swallow on clarinet, Lee-Anne Frost on oboe, Bruce Campbell on French horn, and Reyndell Stockman on bassoon. This talented quintet will perform classical pieces from Bach to Debussy as well as modern composers.

The eclectic selections will enable the musicians to explore playful as well as serious sounds in their repertoire.

Refreshments will be served following the concert.

This program is being sponsored by the Calais Downtown Revitalization Coalition, Calais in Motion, and the Congregational Church of Calais located at 21 Calais Ave. Everyone is welcome.
