Kids create Fairy Gardens at Palermo Community Library

DIG INTO READING will kick off Summer Events at the Palermo Community Library on July 9 at 10 a.m. DIG INTO READING is a statewide program for young readers up to Grade 2. Stories and activities will be held twice a week, including Bedtime Story Hour every other week on Thursdays at 7 pm. Children may come in PJs with a pillow and a stuffy.

“Fairymainia” will invade the Palermo Community Library on Friday, July 12 at 1 p.m. This is not a fluffy fairy event–there will be a mix of traditional characters some of whom may not be nice!

A casting call is out for musicians, a juggler and a magician. To volunteer or learn more about “Fairymainia” leave a message for Kristen Bishop at 993-6088 or “like” Palermo Community Library on Facebook to leave a message.

The full schedule for DIG INTO READING is on the Palermo Community Library’s website at http://www.palermo.lib.me.us/events.html.
