Gift givers hunting for the unique and the memorable this holiday season will have the Eastport Gallery to thank for simplifying the season. Beginning November 30th, gallery artists will be exhibiting reasonably priced paintings, sculptures, and prints just in time to solve the perennial problem of finding gifts that won’t be soon forgotten. Art can be the perfect present for the person who has everything or the person who has nothing and all the folks in-between. There is always room for the beautiful with imagination.
The great nineteen century designer William Morris advised, “Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.” The Eastport Gallery can fill at least one of those requirements.
There is nothing more original as a gift of art.
Participating artists are: Dan Butler, Helena Bosse, Arthur Cadeux, Renate Caraballo, Judy Clendenning, Alice Chen, Marlys Farn-Guillette, JoAnne C. Houlsen, David Lewis, Patricia Music, Dominic Noe, Elizabeth Ostrander, Ann C. Rosebrooks, and Joyce Weber.
Dates: November 30 to December 1, Saturday and Sunday, and December 5, 6, 7, 8; Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Time: 10 AM to 4 PM.
The Eastport Gallery is located at 74 Water Street, opposite Overlook Park and next to the Maritime Museum. Telephone:207-853-4166
