THOMASTON, ME: Throughout the month of August, pet owners can help the Pope Memorial Humane Society of Knox County (PMHSKC) by simply having their rugs cleaned. Rite-Way Cleaning of Waldoboro will donate 10% of proceeds from each pet stain or pet urine-related rug cleaning order and 5% of proceeds from ANY pet owner’s rug cleaning order to PMHSKC.

Rite Way owner Mike Fairfield said: “I am happy to repeat this program again for 2013 because the Pope Memorial Humane Society does so much to save lives and build families in our community. Pets are an important source of business for us, and our donation of proceeds is our way of giving back to the animals.”

All of us at PMHSKC are thrilled at Rite Way’s generosity. We love working with them, and they really do an amazing job at safely removing stains and odors from carpets,” noted HSKC Executive Director Tracy Sala.

To schedule a rug cleaning, call Mike Fairfield at 542-4231. Pet owners need only mention the words “Humane Society”, and Rite Way will donate the 5% or 10% proceeds to PMHSKC.

Rite Way’s expert oriental carpet care is unmatched in the Midcoast area because of their unique 6-step cleaning process that targets each carpet’s specific needs. Pet urine soiling is addressed with a special treatment that includes the use of enzymes to eliminate urine from the carpet at the molecular level. Rite Way also provides Scotchguard, mothproofing, and upholstery cleaning services. Pick-up and delivery is available on request.
