BANGOR, Maine — The Bangor Parks and Recreation Department still has openings in its Middle School travel camp for students entering grades six-eight, and its Bigger Kid Camp entering grades four-six.
The Middle School Camp runs Tuesdays-Thursdays starting the week of June 24. Students will spend a day doing fun games and activities in Bangor including, Pancoe Pool, area beaches, miniature golf and then hit the road for some fun big field trips each week. The cost of the camp is $90 per week for residents and $99 for nonresidents and includes all field trips. If you register for all eight weeks and pay in full, the fee is $600 for residents and $680 for non residents.
The Bigger Kid Camp runs Mondays-Fridays starting the week of June 23. Each week students will have a special event or trip. The camp is held at the Mary Snow School in Bangor.
