Open House in Liberty to Focus on Solar Energy Options

Posted Feb. 18, 2013, at 11:30 a.m.

LIBERTY – An open house for home and business owners interested in solar energy will be held on Saturday, March 2, from 9 a.m. to noon at ReVision Energy, located at 91 West Main Street in Liberty. ReVision Energy is a leading installer of solar electric and solar hot water systems in northern New England. The event is free and open to the public.

The purpose of the open house is to help interested property owners learn more about the technology and economics of solar energy. Attendees will have the opportunity to see solar energy systems installed at the shop, tour the warehouse, and meet members of the ReVision Energy team. Refreshments will be served.

During the open house ReVision Energy staff will answer such questions as: How do these systems work? How much will a system cost? Is my site good for solar? How reliable are these systems? Is there really enough sunshine in Maine for solar to work effectively? What is the typical return on investment?

With more than 3,000 systems completed since 2003, ReVision Energy is Maine and New Hampshire’s leading installer of grid-tied solar electric and solar hot water renewable energy systems. ReVision Energy helps people and businesses transition away from fossil fuels to the renewable energy economy of tomorrow. Notable recent projects include Maine’s largest solar array at Thomas College in Waterville, Unity College in Unity, and the Good Will-Hinckley School in Hinckley.
