I have decided that I no longer have a place/role/duty in the occupymaine portland movement – so I am leaving the group as it is now – I will continue to be available for work with OMTV – I will continue my efforts with the groups in Meg Perry Center that appreciate what I do for the center and the groups involved – until then my focus will be with projects that fit more with people that are on my level of culture awareness – OccupyMaine as a facebook page/website is done as far I am concerned – From the cronyism that the ‘powers that be’ dictate to the general assembly of maybe 10 folks now – I say where are they taking this movement when so many have left and formed their own splinter groups – OccupyMaine has failed to include the true 99% and has become its own clique = I have yet to see any outreach to the minority/immigrant community – so if OccupyMaine wants to remain a Liberal out of touch White hippie peace freak group then I say good luck to them – For this occupier who lived at Lincoln park during the encampment and helps the real 99% on a daily basis – The movement as is needs to wake up and not fall into the trap to what the Liberal media/Obama wants them to believe is good for them – Because they are not better off than they were 4 yrs ago under the reins of the Democrats who controlled the 3 branches of legislative US Government
