ROCKPORT, Maine — Noah Capetta, tennis pro at Mid-Coast Recreation Center, has received the Junior Player Development Award for his exceptional work with young tennis players.
“I feel lucky to have the opportunity to work with so many amazing young people in our community,” said Capetta, in the recreation center’s press release. “This award belongs to Mid-Coast Recreation Center and all of my co-workers who are equally dedicated to developing tennis and the lives of youth in midcoast Maine.”
This is the third 2013 award from the Maine Tennis Association for MRC and its staff; the facility was recognized as the Indoor Club of the Year and Seth Meyer, director of Tennis and Sports Programming, received an award for Tournament Director of the Year.
MRC is a non-profit, public facility in Rockport, featuring four indoor tennis courts and a regulation-size indoor ice arena. For more information on adult and junior tennis programs and skating programs call 236-9400 or visit midcoastrec.org
