Posted Nov. 11, 2013, at 12:43 p.m.

Pet Quarters in Rockland will host a Wellness Clinic with Dr. Joel Hokkanen as they do on the 4th Tuesday of every month. These Wellness Clinics provide low-cost, convenient care for healthy cats and dogs, including exams and consultation, vaccinations, heartworm/lyme tests, feline leukemia/FIV tests, microchipping, and parasite control. See the full list of services and prices. Not sure what your pet needs? See veterinarian Joel Hokkanen’s Recommended Care.

And while you are there, why not stop by the PMHSKC table? We will make your pet his or her own unique ID tag for just $7.00! We will also have information on the spay/neuter program.

When you bring a pet to one of these clinics, please follow these guidelines:

– Pets should be on a leash or in a pet carrier.

– If possible, please bring your pet’s medical records including any vaccination records.

– Payment can be made by cash, check, or credit card.

Please take a moment to thank the staff at Pet Quarters. They generously provide the facilities that make affordable pet care possible!
